It was one of the most exciting days of the school calendar today as all of the children from across all year groups took part in our annual ‘Sports Day’. Children represented their various houses; Warwick, Oxford, Arundel or Norfolk. Dressed in the colour of their houses, in the morning the children from across KS2 took part in a series of sporting challenges before representatives from each house in each year group competed against each other in a shuttle relay.  Parents and toddlers raced before the teachers took part in a relay. There was then a fantastic tug of war between the teachers and the Year Six children before the whole community came together to enjoy a picnic on the field.

In the afternoon the children from the Foundation Stage and KS1 took part in a series of races, once again representing their houses, and there were more parent and toddler races.

At the end of the afternoon there was an excited atmosphere on the field as the whole community came together to hear which house had earned the most points. Well done to Norfolk who scored the highest amount for the second year in a row! Thank you to everyone who came along and supported the day in order to make it such a special occasion.
