It was another busy day in school. The morning started with a group of children from across KS1 representing the school at this years Southend ‘Mini Games’ celebration. The children were accompanied by Mrs Bowden, Mrs Critoph and Mr Smith over to Eastwood Academy where they took part in a series of sporty events where their jumping, skipping and running skills were put to the test. The children worked well as a team and had great fun in the process. Well done to all of the children who took part, we are proud of you!

Later in the day it was a special occasion as the children from Year Six who wished to leave a lasting memory of their time at Earls Hall went and saw their memory plaques up on the wall of the school by the side entrance. The wall of plaques gets added to every year and will be able to act as a reminder of the children’s time at school for years to come.

In the afternoon the upstairs hall was full of crazy dance moves and games as the children in KS2 enjoyed their end of term discos. The children were all wearing their best party clothes and, as usual, were put through their paces by the wonderful Micky B!

After school the children from Year Six enjoyed their special leaving party. Once again Micky B was DJ, this time out on the field, and the children enjoyed the freedom of dancing outside. There was an ice cream van for the children to enjoy a  Summer treat and a great time was had by all!
