It was a sensational day of family fun today at Earls Hall as the PTA held its Summer Fair, the first since the pandemic restrictions ended. The whole school site was buzzing with activity as members of the school community, past and present, came together in order to raise funds whilst enjoying themselves. It was amazing to see so many families joining us throughout the day.

There were dozens of stalls dotted around the field and playground, a wealth of inflatables for the children to enjoy and some amazing refreshment stalls offering tasty delights. The children could enjoy investigating the coastguards car, purchase a range of local honey, individual wood items and crystals whilst whole families could relax by Mrs Snow’s afternoon tea caravan.

Throughout the day, crowds were entertained by a host of fantastic singers, dance troupes, fitness instructors and karate demonstrators.

Parents, grandparents, teachers and teaching assistants all lent a hand in order to ensure that the day went smoothly and, such is the power of the Earls Hall community, help was even given by parents whose children left the school many years ago- once an Earls Hallian, always an Earls Hallian! Thanks also to all of the families who are new to us and have children starting at the school in September who came along to support the day.

Thanks to all of the PTA committee members for their organistaional skills and labour on the day but a special thanks to Mrs Sale, Mrs Heath and Mrs Welling for once again being the dream team and thinking big! The day is sure to have raised thousands towards the purchase of our new Forest Friends living roof canopy. Thanks to everyone for supporting such a wonderful day full of community spirit!
