It was yet again another busy start to the week. The children in Hawks spent time this afternoon by continuing their work on the Egyptians. They created their own ancient sarcophaguses which they then filled with air power to make moving figures whizz out at speed.

In Kites the children studied weather patterns from around the world on the laptops. They used the internet to research temperatures around the globe and then recorded the data on whiteboards. Once they had collected the data they then inputted it into an excel spreadsheet in pairs.

The children across Year Two have been writing their own nonsense poems which they shared with each other. This afternoon the children used these paintings as an inspiration for painting. They expressed the nonsense feelings from their poems in a series of shapes and patterns.
