Moon and Mammals!

It has been another busy start to the week and one which has seen the children in Year Five investigate the various phases of the moon using delicious snacks.

The children represented the phases by scraping the right amount of filling off Oreo biscuits which they then devoured. They also researched the number of moons each planet has and recorded the information in a table.

Today, as the children in Elm continued to learn about electricity by inserting switches into circuits that they had made and the children in Oak enjoyed another swimming lesson over in the pool , the children in Squirrels were classifying different animals into groups. The children worked in groups to sort out the difference between reptiles and mammals.
