The end of the week at Earls Hall was a proud day for all in Year Two as the children took to the stage on two occasions in order to entertain proud parents and other family members with their performances of ‘Lights, Camel, Action’!  The Christmas play saw the cast of nativity celebrities celebrate Jesus’ birth with a dazzling dance show in the style of ‘Strictly Come Dancing’. The children acted, sang and danced their way through the performances confidently and a great time was had by all. Well done to all of the children who performed, we are proud of you!

Once again, the PTA were on hand to serve refreshments after the performances- even dressing up as elves at one point! Thank you to all of the volunteers who have given their time throughout, what has been, a busy week of shows.

Elsewhere in school, the children in KS2 took part in a ‘Celebration Assembly’ where Mrs Ludlam presented a child from each class with a ‘Earls Hall Star’ certificate in recognition of individual achievement or effort. There were also times table certificates presented. Well done to all of the children presented with certificates today, we are proud of you!

Mr B was also lucky enough to hear more readers in his office, today from the Foundation Stage. Well done to the children who read to him for trying so hard and making him feel so proud.

At the end of the afternoon the weeks ‘Learning Ambassadors’ met with Mrs Irwin, one of our school governors, in order to share with her the learning which has been taking place in school since Monday. Well done to all of the ambassadors, we are proud of you!
