It was a phenomenal day for sport today as a team of children from across Years Five and Six represented the school at this years Upper KS2 Southend tournament and came back with the winners shield! The day saw the players showing their skills with their sticks against teams from across the city. The final was a super close match at 1-1. It went through to a ‘golden goal’ situation for five extra minutes but ended up staying 1-1 meaning first place was shared with our friends at Alleyn Court. Mr Crooks and Mr Gordon came back to school beaming from ear to ear. Well done children, we are proud of you!

Meanwhile, as the children in Oak enjoyed creating the plinths for their unique statues, we held our weekly ‘Celebration Assemblies’ where we presented badges for reading and times table effort and achievement as well as certificates to this weeks ‘Earls Hall Stars’. Well done to everyone presented with a badge pr certificate this week, we are proud of you!
