Fab February!

It has been a jam packed few days at Earls Hall! The children in the Foundation Stage began the week enjoying a fabulous ‘numbertime’ session where they developed their understanding of place value with games such as ‘Snakes & Ladders’. Meanwhile, as the children in Beech enjoyed a yoga session in the upstairs hall, the children in Year Four were taking part in an artistic afternoon! Whilst some children made unique plinths for their statues, others created stunning works of art using cotton buds to paint.

On Tuesday, the children in Year One enjoyed their Forest Friends session where they continued to investigate dinosaurs. The children collected logs and branches from around the woods and then worked together to build a giant dinosaur model in the trees.

Today, the children in Beech made paper record cards to create a class database about animals whilst some of the children in Robins made their own castles which they used for a basis of role play and the children in Foxes developed their sewing skills.
