It was a great end to another week at Earls Hall as the children gathered together in the morning to take part in our weekly ‘Celebration Assemblies’. Earls Hall Stars certificates were presented to individuals from each KS1 and KS2 class for effort and achievement. There were also rewards for times tables and certificates for children who took part in the Summer library challenge.

Later in the day, lots of children visited the goats for a play or cuddle whilst the children in 6J and 6C created their own self portraits which they used to identify the features of the face in French.

Throughout the day a team of girls from upper KS2 represented the school at the emerging football tournament where they played against teams from across the town. Altogether the team played seven matches: winning four and drawing three. Team work was on display throughout the day and all of their hard work paid off as they were named as the overall winners of the day! Well done children, we are proud of you!
