End of Week Wonders!

It may have been a rainy day outside but inside Earls Hall was full of brightness as we ended the week celebrating our latest ‘Earls Hall Stars’ in our two simultaneous ‘Celebration Assemblies’. Children were presented with certificates for individual effort and achievement in the classroom as well as for times table and reading races. Well done to everyone who was presented with certificates today, we are proud of you!

In the morning our trusty PTA held a committee meeting which mainly focused on our up and coming ‘Summer Fair’. Winners¬† of our brochure cover competition were chosen which will be announced in assembly next week. Thank you to all of the children who entered. Mr B thanked the committee for their recent purchases of new LED boards for the Year One and Year Five classrooms which the children and teachers absolutely love using! The PTA agreed to purchase another set of boards for Year four soon so watch this space as eventually every classroom will be equipped with a brand new board!

At lunchtime more children joined the teachers at the centre table of the Woodland Diner in recognition of their excellent manners before Mr B heard some more magnificent readers, today from Dormice. Well done children, Mr B was very impressed!

At the end of the afternoon the weeks ‘Learning Ambassadors’ met with one of our school governors, Mrs Irwin, to share with her the learning which has been taking place across the school since we returned from the half term break. Well done children for sharing the learning so clearly, we are proud of you!
