The children from across Year 3 have had a lip smackingly fun couple of days in class this week as there has been an overriding theme of all things tasty! Yesterday the children in Hawks, Kestrels and Kites took part in an experiment tasting different types of fruits and vegetables and describing their taste.They recorded their findings and used adjectives to differentiate each taste.

Today the children made a variety of breads. They followed a recipe and took turns to complete each instruction right up to the point of baking. They added flavours such as bananas and cheese and broccoli and then, at the end of the session, decided which one they thought they liked best. the corridor was filled with a delicious waft of baking making many tummies rumble!
