Wicked Wednesday!

x 16

It was another busy day at Earls Hall. The morning started with some of the boys from KS1 puttingĀ  on a recorder performance for Mrs Trower. The boys shared the skills that they have developed in their weekly club and made her and Mrs Critoph proud.

Meanwhile, in the Foundation Stage, theĀ children were combining natural objects with their drawings to make a picture. Some of the children were also still as inspired as ever by the new ducklings and made their own models of our new feathered friends by painting cups to make their bodies and heads. In the morning the children were visited by Mrs Eshmade, one of our Vice Chairs of the governing body. The children explained all about the excitement of the eggs hatching and how they have cared for the since they arrived.

Upstairs in Willow, having investigated balanced diets, the children were busy preparing their own healthy snacks which included carbs, vegetables and protein. The children prepared all of the ingredients themselves and followed their own written recipes in order to create the snacks.
In Year Four the children continued to learn through the text ‘Journey to Jo’berg’ and today used the laptops to research apartheid whilst in Year Three the children worked as individuals and pairs to create their own fantastic pneumatic moving monsters with some stunning end results!
