It was another busy day at Earls Hall today! The day saw the children in Elm enjoy a fun Forest Friends session where they took full advantage of the whole FF area! Some children developed their knot tying skills when creating large scale shelters in the woods, attaching tarpaulin independently in order to make their creations secure. Others created obstacle courses using guttering, logs and sticks whilst there was also time to tend to the plant beds or have fun on the rope swing.

Meanwhile, as the children from Sycamore took to the pool for a swimming lesson with Mr Knight, there was plenty of fun taking place in the Foundation Stage classes. Some children in Dormice decided to work together to create an awesome pirate ship out of junk modelling whilst others enjoyed small world play in order to tell stories. Outside in the Early Years garden, some children enjoyed playing with the sand and water whilst others developed their gross motor skills with the large tyres.

As the children from Willow enjoyed sewing patterns on to their tie dye materials, outside, a group of children from 6C joined Miss Kelly out in the animal enclosures, clearing away the goats droppings before enjoying a play with Gordon, Geraldine and Gerald.

In the afternoon, the children in woodpeckers enjoyed a fun PE lesson in the downstairs hall before, after school, Nicola from Clay cottage worked with her club members to create some stunning piggy banks.
