It was another jam packed day of fun and learning at Earls Hall! The day saw the children in Year Five take part in another session of cricket on the playground where they developed their ability to hit the wicket! Over time the children became better and better at it and great fun was had by all!

Meanwhile, as the children in Kestrels learnt about Roman numerals, in Year Two, the children learnt about the Great Plague. They heard all about the ways people tried to control its spread and made replicas of some of the accessories people wore to try and protect themselves.

Outside, whilst the children in Squirrels enjoyed a circle time session and the Foundation Stage children played in the Early Years garden, the children in Rabbits enjoyed some team games on the field as a reward for reaching their class tally target for positive behaviour. They enjoyed playing cups and saucers and were reminded of some of the positive choices they had made in order to earn their tallies as individuals and as a group. There was more Year One fun taking place in the animal enclosures as a group of children from Squirrels visited the goats, chickens and ducks.

Upstairs, as the children in 6M once again took to their saddles for a Bikeability session, the children in 6C and 6J continued to incorporate blanket and running stitches into their stunning Tudor cushion designs.
