STUNNING STEPS!

It was once again all go in school today!

The children in 6J continued their work on the Tudors by, first of all putting their finishing touches to their handmade cushions, and then by creating a series of stunning Tudor commemorative stamps. The children incorporated iconic Tudor symbols into their designs with fantastic results.

Meanwhile, in 6B, the children continued learning about the river Thames. They used the information gathered from the internet to print pictures, diagrams and maps of the river and label them with facts they had gathered.

As it was such a sunny day the children in the Foundation Stage made the most of their outdoor area. They set up their own role play scenarios and played in the mud kitchen.

After school parents of the children who attend the ‘Steps Ahead’ group were treated to an end of term performance. The show demonstrated the confident acting and dancing skills the children have developed over the course of the last term. ‘Steps Ahead’ have been running classes at Earls Hall for over fifteen years and the weekly group is hugely popular, so much so that we are hopeful that we will be running a second session for KS1 in the next academic year. Thank you to all of the parents who came along to support the show!
