It was an exciting day for the children in Year Five today as many of them took to the stage in order to audition for parts in their up and coming production of ‘Joseph and his Technicoloured Dreamcoat’ due to take place around Easter. Children who are interested in taking up singing roles in the production were able to perform songs as soloists, duets or groups and bravely chose songs of their choice to perform in front of their friends. Well done to all of the children who showed courage to try out for parts and to the children who enjoyed their performances who showed the Earls Hall Quality of being respectful as an audience.

Meanwhile, as the children in Year Six continued to put the finishing touches to their Hagrid houses in DT, the children in Year Three continued to engage in an enquiry curriculum block by independently researching and finding the answers to their own questions about life in the Stone Age. Having retrieved information using the internet and books, the children began choosing ways to present the information found ready to display their findings to other children.
