It was a busy start to a new week at Earls Hall for the class representatives on the Sports Council as they met for the first time with Mr Gordon and Mr Crooks. The elected members from Years Two to Six discussed expectations for being on the council before sharing their views on recent changes we have made to sport across the school. They agreed some future agenda items for when they next meet and how they would feedback outcomes to the rest of their classmates. It was a very productive meeting, well done children!

Later in the morning the children in 6C enjoyed their second session with the coaches for padel tennis. The children took to the playground and worked in pairs to develop their rallying skills before sharing their progress in mini games.

As a group of children from Hawks helped Miss Kelly look after the animals, in the upstairs hall, Mr B led assembly for the children in lower KS2 which today focused on young carers. Mr B explained what it meant to be a young carer and how we, as a school and through various organisations, can support them.

As the children in the Foundation Stage enjoyed getting creative in the Early Years Garden, the children in Badgers enjoyed a fun PE session on the field with Mr Crooks. After school, the lovely Mrs Hanshaw hosted another Puppet Club where the children made their own windmill props.
