It was a fun end to the week at Earls Hall today as the children and staff came out in force to help support Comic Relief by taking part in the Red Nose Day celebrations! The children were invited to come to school dressed in red or donning a crazy hair style and, as always, our families didn’t let us down with the effort they put into the children’s attire! There were mohicans, crazy bunches and an array of coloured highlights in every corner of the school and, although we are yet to add up the total amount of money raised, we are sure that we will have raised a great amount of cash for the charity. Thank you to everyone for supporting our efforts!

Throughout the day, we held our three ‘Celebration Assemblies’ where we presented our ‘Earls Hall Stars’ certificates to individual children in each class in recognition of their efforts and achievements as well as ‘Reading Champions’ badges and times table postcards. We were also visited by Mrs Wilson, one of our school governors, who met with our weeks ‘Learning Ambassadors’ to discuss the learning which has taken place across the school throughout the week. Well done children, we are proud of you!

In the afternoon, the children in Year Two enjoyed a rotation of sporting activities led by Mr Crooks, Mr Gordon and Mr Trigg whilst the children in Elm ended their week of swimming lessons by taking part in a fun swim session.
