It was a wet and windy day at Earls Hall today. The weather inspired the children in the Foundation Stage to explore puddles. They had great fun splashing but also investigated what happened to the puddles when they added more water or scraped away mud. In Dormice the children continued to show an interest in weddings and so some of the them made their own model wedding cakes.

In Year One the children in Rabbits were making personal timelines starting from when they were born, ending with being at school and with something of their choice in between.
In Year Two Foxes were following up on their Matisse introduction by creating pictures of their choice by using his ‘painting with scissors’ technique.  children cut , arranged and stuck paper to create their own pictures.

In Year Five Beech class were locating countries in an atlas and using their findings to complete their own map of China and the surrounding countries.  They then coloured the maps in and shared facts learned about the area with some discovering facts about tsunamis.
