It was a fabulous start to the Year Six residential as the children visited the wonderful world of Harry Potter! At Warner Bros Studios, the children visited a series of sets used in the movies, seeing them up closely and finding out how some of the magic was made on screen using special effects. The children also took part in a movie workshop where the team at the studios explained the process of creating a movie in stages, from the beginning idea right through to directing the actors to shoot each scene. It was a wonderful start to the day.

After the Warner Bros visit, the children travelled to the hostel where we are staying and, after unpacking, enjoyed a delicious meal. In the evening, despite the slightly wet weather, the children enjoyed spending time together in the grounds. The children played a series of games or simply relaxed and enjoyed each others company. It was a lovely start to the trip and there were smiles all round!
