It was an exciting day for some of the children in Year Five as they ventured out of school in order to take part in a residential trip to PGL! The children arrived at school with everything that they needed for the three days away from school and, once their belongings were loaded onto the coach, they set off on an adventure!
At Windmill Hill, the children enjoyed lunch before embarking on their afternoon activities. Some children challenged themselves to take part in the climbing tower experience, ‘All aboard’, whilst others took part in a sensory trail. Once the sun set, the children took part in the ‘Ambush’ activity which saw them hunt for each other in groups around the site before heading off to bed back in their cabins.
The trip empowers the children to challenge themselves by adopting a growth mindset throughout the three days and so far a great time is being had by all!
