It was another fantastic day for the children in Year Five taking part in the residential trip to PGL. The day saw them focus on developing their team work skills whilst taking part in a series of exciting challenges. On the lake, the children had to work as part of a team to build their own rafts. By working together they followed instructions to create a raft that was strong enough to hold them all as they took to the water. When on the water, they maneuvered their way around the lake with many ending up waist deep in water and having lots of fun!

There was more fun to be had as the children challenged themselves to brave the giant swing. As a team they hoisted up the children in twos or threes by pulling the rope in unison before those in the swing had to pull a chord in order to release the swing. The children flew through the air and were really proud of themselves for being so brave!
