It was a magical day at Earls Hall today as the children in Foundation Stage and KS1 visited Father Christmas in his wonderful outside grotto! Having magically appeared thanks to the hard work of our PTA pixies yesterday, there was a great sense of awe and wonder as each class in turn went and saw the grotto. The walk to see the big man himself was adorned with Christmas trees, reindeers and snow and each line of children was entertained by a series of elf helpers from Year Six. Every elf looked the part, thank you to all of the parents for sending the helpers in looking fantastic.
Father Christmas spent time chatting to each of the children before presenting them with a special gift to take home. It was a long day for our special visitor so we hope he has a rest before returning to see the children in KS2 tomorrow.
Meanwhile, out on the playground, the children in 6J enjoyed another session of Bikeability whilst, in the computer suite, the children in Beech were exploring using formulas and created a multiplication square on Microsoft Excel. After school the downstairs hall played host to another fantastic session of karate.
