It was a festive end to another week at Earls Hall! The children from KS2 took turns to experience the awe and wonder of our magical grotto where each child spent time meeting Father Christmas himself. Supported by a host of wonderful elves from Year Six and members of the fabulous PTA, our favourite visitor gave each child a gift having spoken to them about their plans for Christmas. It was a smashing experience for all of the children who visited and was only possible thanks to the hard work of our PTA. Thank you to all of the volunteers and to Father Christmas himself for giving us his time yet again.

Throughout the day we held our three ‘Celebration assemblies’ in the halls where a child from each class from Years One to Six were presented with ‘Earls Hall Stars’ certificates for individual effort and achievement. There were also plenty of Reading Champions badges and times table certificates presented for children’s efforts at home. Well done to all of the children, we are proud of you.

In the afternoon the ‘Learning Ambassadors’ for the week met with Mrs Wilson, one of the school governors, where they spent time talking to her about the learning which has been taking place in each class so that she was able to gain an overview of progression across the school. The children did a fantastic job taking part in the discussions. Well done to all of the children, we are proud of you.
