It was another busy and fun day at Earls Hall! The day saw the children in Elm use the laptops in order to carry out some research. The children have been reading ‘The lost Words’, a book about bird poems. This week the children have written poems about birds and made sketches so today they each chose a particular bird to research and find out as many facts as they can about it. They searched the internet for facts and pictures before pasting the photos into a document which they then inserted text into.
There was more laptop use in 6C as the children developed their coding skills and played Maths games. Meanwhile, outside on the playground, the children in Hawks developed their ball skills by trying to shoot hoops. There was more ball skills on the upper KS2 playground as Mrs Thelwell slam dunked for the children in order to develop their basketball skills!
The children in Year One enjoyed junk modelling whilst the children in Foxes enjoyed some quality library time, reading books for pleasure.
