As we found ourselves heading towards the end of our first week of the term it was time today for the first children of the year to visit our chickens. Every day children visit the chickens to collect the eggs, feed them and have a cuddle so today was special as, although the birds had been looked after beautifully by Mrs Smoothy throughout the holiday, they were delighted to be joined by children for some company.

Meanwhile children in Key Stage Two continued to get to know the schools new areas as the Kites were treated to a trip downstairs to the new communal learning area. The area is used for group work throughout the day but is also the perfect space for sharing stories!
