The Foundation Stage garden received a fantastic transformation today when a team of staff from our nearby Tesco store came into school to complete a wonderful makeover of the area!

Throughout the Summer break the team have been creating new areas for the children to enjoy on a voluntary basis as part of an exciting community project. They jet washed the decking to give it a fresh clean look and gave the windmill and shopping role play area a fresh lick of bright paint.

Rather cleverly the team created a new mud kitchen area made entirely from old shopping pallets which they built from scratch! The kitchen has been checked to ensure it is free of splinters.

The old shed was dismantled and discarded by Mr Hopkins and Mr Kilpatick earlier in the week meaning today the team were free to build a wonderful sand pit area made from sleepers for the children to enjoy.

The team have worked so hard and all the resources were donated for free by the store. Thank you so much to everyone involved for helping to make the garden so special for our new intake!
