Fun in the Sun!

It was another sunny day at Earls Hall which proved to be the perfect setting for a fun lunch time! Out on the field, the children enjoyed playing on the climbing equipment, exploring the giant sand pit, making their own music on the chime bars and getting creative with the tyres and planks of wood.

Back inside, as the children in Foxes enjoyed exploring the place value of number, the children in Beech investigated the effects of different instruments through the story of ‘Peter and the Wolf’.

As Mr Crooks helped the children in Sycamore develop their dribbling skills on the field, more children were welcomed to come across and familiarise themselves in the lodge; the base for our new ‘home from home’ personalised provision. The children worked with Miss Patching and Mr Trigg for short sessions in order to provide them with brain breaks from the classroom whilst developing self regulation strategies. The children who are accessing the provision have loved their new setting and we are already seeing a positive impact for all who are supported there.

Upstairs, the children in 6J developed their art skills by learning how to create realistic sketches of a human face whilst the children in 6CW took to the surrounding roads as part of their Bikeability sequence of lessons.
