It was a fabulous first day of the new academic year today at Earls Hall as the children returned to the fold after the summer holiday. The children enjoyed a soft start to the term, familiarising themselves with their new classrooms and getting to know any of the adults who they are working with who are new to them.
In the KS2 assembly, Mr B welcomed the children back and discussed with them our Earls Hall qualities and the expectations we have of all of our pupils. A number of children were able to give examples of how they can act as positive role models to the younger children and the whole of the key stage proved that they were starting as they mean to go on by behaving beautifully throughout the whole session.
The first day of the new term was the first day for the latest addition to new special needs provision. The summer has seen the old community room transformed into the most amazing space which will enable personalised provision to take place in a nurturing environment. The team spent their first day getting to know the children in the provision and there were smiles all round.
