It was a fantastic morning at Earls Hall today as we welcomed the final group of Foundation Stage starters into the three classes! It was smashing to see each class finally full with happy children and the new starters soon familiarised themselves to their new surroundings. They visited key areas of the school and got to know their new friends and teachers by playing alongside them, both inside the classroom and outside on the decking area.

In the morning we were joined by Mrs Eshmade, one of our school governors, who met with our new Head Girl, Head Boy and House Captains to discuss their new roles. They told her all about the qualities which we aim for everyone in our community to display in order to be the best people they can be and how they have settled into Year Six.

Later, in the afternoon, the downstairs hall played host to another ‘Rock Steady’ workshop where Phil put the children through their paces by teaching them the drums, electric guitar and keyboards in a band setting.

Outside on the playground the children from 6MC took part in their second day of Bikeability sessions where they made stunning progress and grew massively in confidence!

In Sycamore the children worked in pairs to create electrical circuits which lit a bulb whilst in Year Two the children identified how to share worries in a healthy way by creating their own worry monsters.
