It was a fun day for sport at Earls Hall as Miss Childs accompanied a group of children from across Year Two to the Southend KS1 football tournament.

It was a really fun morning which saw the children play three tournament games. The team played against Greenways then Bournemouth Park and finally Friars. The children drew two games and lost one but showed great levels of team spirit throughout the competition. Well done to all of the children who represented the school, we are proud of you!

Meanwhile, back in school, we held our two simultaneous ‘Celebration Assemblies’ where we presented our ‘Earls Hall Stars’ certificates to a child from each class for individual effort and achievement. We also presented ‘Club 24’ and ‘Times Table Rock Stars’ certificates. Well done to all of the children recognised in assembly today, we are proud of you!

Later, at the end of the afternoon, the downstairs hall was full of proud parents and other family members who all gathered to celebrate as part of our final ‘Attendance Assembly’ of the week. Children in Year Two who had an attendance of 95% or over in the Autumn term were presented with special certificates and enjoyed seeing themselves on the big screen as part of the celebratory powerpoint. Well done to all of the children and thank you to all of our parents who came along to join in with the fun!
