It was a fabulous end to another busy week at Earls Hall. The day saw us host our two ‘Celebration Assemblies’ where children from across KS1 and KS2 were presented with badges in recognition of their efforts and achievements in reading and times tables. ‘Earls Hall Stars’ certificates were also presented to individuals from each class. We also presented certificates to our latest ‘Opal Stars’ in recognition of them being positive role models for play at lunchtimes. Well done to all the children who were presented with badges or certificates today, we are proud of you!
In the afternoon, our Reading Ambassadors met with Mr Geach and Mrs Creak. At the meeting, the ambassadors discussed ways in which they could share reviews of books with other children in order to help them extend the range of texts they expose themselves to. It was decided that each ambassador would review a book which can then be accessed through the newsletter via QR codes. The children were also each tasked with choosing a book for the library which will be paid for from the book fair profits. It was a very productive meeting. Well done children, we are proud of you!
