Our Year Four children took to the stage on three occasions today to perform an amazing producytion of ‘Doctor What?!’.

The children performed to a hall full of fellow pupils, those who didn’t see the play yesterday from across KS2, in the morning and then to family members in both the afternoon and evening.

The play told the story of three time travellers who were on a mission to find out the true meaning of Christmas. Throughout the play they regenerated several times and found themselves visiting various Christmas scenarios. They landed their time machine at Lakeside shopping centre, in the family home whilst they watched television and even at a turkey farm!

By the end of the play the travellers had decided to visit the birth of Jesus and found this to be the true Christmas story.

The play was a phenomenal success and all the children performed beautifully. they acted with enthusiasm, sang loudly and in tune and enjoyed every minute of their time on stage. Thanks to everyone who came along to enjoy the show.

After the afternoon performance our trusty PTA once again served refreshments to the audience. Thank you so much to all the parents who have volunteered their time to serve after one of our four year group productions at such a busy time of the year, it is much appreciated.

At the end of the evening performance Mr B thanked Mrs Thompson for accompanying the children on the piano and wished Mrs Richardson good luck as she prepares to leave us next week to take up the post of Deputy head in a nearby Essex school.
