Bodies, Balls & Birds Eye Views!

It was another busy day at Earls Hall. The children in Year Three continued to explore the human body by identifying and labelling various limbs, joints and organs. They investigated how each labeled part functions in order to build up a picture of how the human body works.

Meanwhile, out with the farm animals, Mrs Timpson worked with a group of children from Sycamore. The group worked hard to sweep the paths clear of any goat droppings before heading over to the bird areas in order to give the ducks and chickens food and water,

As the children in the Foundation Stage enjoyed playing collaboratively in the Early Years garden, the children in Year One enjoyed taking part in continuous provision. Some children enjoyed taking part in role play whilst others worked together to complete puzzles or show their creative side using cutting and sticking.

The children in Year Six enjoyed an active afternoon as the children in 6M took to the field in order to enjoy a game of tag rugby whilst the children in 6C played a fantastic game of bucketball, an introduction game to develop the skills needed for basketball, with Mrs Collins.
