BIKES & BUILDINGS!

Today saw the children in Year Two use buildings as an inspiration for art work. Children from Owls, Badgers and Foxes brought in models, photographs and pictures of significant buildings and shared them with their classmates before investigating London landmarks. The children created silhouettes of the famous landmarks using black sugar paper and focused on the individual features to ensure they made identifiable representations.

Meanwhile 6B were out on the playground, despite the drizzly weather,  taking part in the first session of the week of ‘Bikeabilty’ level 2 whilst 6C worked inside locating mountain ranges and plotting them on a map of the world.

Year Five continued to explore space by creating ‘Powerpoint’ presentations on the laptops. They copied and pasted pictures from search engines into their presentations and included labels independently. Monday 1 Monday 2 Monday 3 Monday 4 Monday 5 Monday 6 Monday 7 Monday 8 Monday 9 Monday 10 Monday 11 Monday 12 Monday 13
