It was an exciting day for the children in Year Four today as they took to the stage on three occasions to perform their amazing production of Bah Humbug! The show told the famous story of Scrooge and his ghostly visits, leading him to change his ways, transforming his outlook on life from one of misery and cruelty to one who promotes the spirit of Christmas through kindness and the joy of life. The show saw the children act, sing and dance their way through the story and the audience were blown away by their wonderful group and individual performances. Thank you to all of the children and staff for their hard work and to all of the proud parents and other family members for coming along to show your support. It was a fabulous finale to this years run of Christmas plays, all of which have been brilliant!

It was a sad day in the office as we said a fond farewell to Mrs Robertson after just over three years working as Admin Assistant. At lunchtime, Mrs Robertson was presented with gifts and flowers by her friends in the staffroom and said her goodbyes throughout the day to children as they visited her at her window. Mrs Robertson is leaving us to take up the post of Office Manager at a local school and I know that I speak on behalf of the whole community when I wish her luck in her new role and thank her for all of her hard work!

As the children in Year Six developed their cooking skills- grating, chopping and slicing fruit and veg in preparation for next weeks war recipe workshop, the children in Year Three enjoyed their Christmas camp fire sessions outside. They toasted marshmallows and enjoyed hot chocolate whilst singing festive tunes!
