It was a great start to the penultimate week of the term at Earls Hall! The morning was a special one for the children in KS2 as their assembly saw them reward the efforts and achievements of our latest reading champions. Dozens of children from across the year groups were presented with bronze and silver badges in recognition of reading twenty five and silver badges respectively. Well done children, we are proud of you!

There was more reading pride later in the day as Mr B listened to some of our youngest children read. The children from Robins were extremely keen to read and Mr B was incredibly proud of them!

In the afternoon a group of children from across Year Six took on some of the farm duties of the school as they laboured over in the duck enclosure. The ground of the enclosure had become very slippery with mud so the children shoveled and spread a ton of pea shingle into the land in order to create some friction. The children worked well as a team and completed the job in just over an hour. Well done children, we are proud of you!
