The week started with the usual amount of activity today. Mr B showed two sets of parents around the school as part of a guided tour. The parents, all parents of pre-school children, were shown the children at work and had the chance to hear about Earls Hall from both himself and the pupils in class.

The morning saw the children in Foxes venture out of school to investigate the local area surrounding the school. They walked sensibly around the adjacent roads to investigate the various features, identifying them as human or natural, and made notes on their clipboards as they undertook their journey. Back in class the children discussed the various features they had seen and sorted them into two groups.

Later in the afternoon the children in 6B took part in their first Bikeability session on the playground. The cyclists heard how to check that their bikes were safe and road worthy before they set off on two wheels around the site.

There was much excitement in the office as the ladies took delivery of our first batch of ‘AOK CLUB’ badges! The office has been flooded with ideas for the children to show kindness in the community over the course of the last week and Mr B and the team have been organising activities to begin soon!
