Top Tuesday!

It was a scorcher of a day today so it was lovely to see so many of the children enjoying so much time in the great outdoors!

The children in Rabbits enjoyed some time in the Forest Friends area whilst the children in 6C spent the afternoon in the shade outside completing a Geography lesson where the children were drawing maps to show the contours of the land.

There was more jobs to do outside as Mr B was joined by a group of children from Kites who helped him weed some of our planters. In the farm areas, Mrs Timpson was joined by groups of children from Hawks who helped her feed and pet the goats, chickens and ducks.

Meanwhile, inside, the children in Year Two explored structures and tried to create some homes for the three little pigs whilst the children in Sycamore undertook an enquiry about absorbency of different materials.  The children made predictions, used observation skills and then measuring skills to see which material had absorbed the most – cotton wool!
