It was a fantastic day of sporting fun for a team of children from Years Three and Four as they represented Earls Hall at the 3/4 inter-schools Tag Rugby competition which was held today at Southend Rugby Club. Accompanied and coached by Mr Crooks and Mr Gordon, the team had a busy day, playing eight games throughout the tournament. It was a mixed bag of results, with the children winning four games and losing four, but the children were absolutely amazing and their skills improved as the day went on. Their determination to succeed and enjoy themselves saw them finish in an impressive fourth place, having scored plenty of tries. Well done children, we are proud of you!

Meanwhile, back in school, there was more sport on show as the children in Badgers enjoyed a fun fitness session in the downstairs hall whilst the children in the Foundation Stage created their own fun and games in the Early Years Garden. Inside, some of the children built some impressive block models whilst others tried their hand at hand printing.

In Oak the children continued to create their own pop-up cards with some impressive results whilst, outside, the children in Kestrels used their Forest Friends session to create large scale shelters in teams.

As the children in Year Five spent time in the upstairs hall rehearsing their up and coming production of ‘Robin Hood’, Miss Kelly was assisted by a group of children from Squirrels who helped her feed and water the ducks, chickens and goats.
