It was a busy start to the final week of the Spring term at Earls Hall today! The day saw the children in Year Five take to the stage for the dress rehearsal of their rescheduled production of Robin Hood. The children ran through their lines in anticipation of performing their play after they return from the Easter break.

Meanwhile, as the children in Elm enjoyed developing their Saxon moveable pictures by independently cutting, scoring and securing parts out of cardboard, the children in 6M used the glockenspiels in order to play along to the classic Bon Jovi Track, ‘Livin’ on a Prayer’.

After school, the field played host to a couple of friendly football matches between our girls football club and teams from Fairways Primary. All of the girls represented the school and, with the players losing one match and winning another, it was a close cut finish in terms of goals scored. Well done to all of the girls, we are proud of you!

Also after school, the upstairs hall was the focus of the Steps Ahead end of term Showcase. Directed by Laura, the talent in the group was on full display as they performed three wonderful group pieces. They sang, danced and acted for their proud parents and other family members, clearly showing the progress they have made in the world of performing arts since January. It was a delight to see them perform. Well done children, we are proud of you!
