It was a busy end to a jam packed week at Earls Hall today! The day saw us hold our three ‘Celebration Assemblies’ where we presented an ‘Earls Hall Star’ certificate to an individual child from each class from Years One to Six in recognition of achievement or effort. In each assembly we also presented children from each class with ‘Reading Champions’ badges as a reward for their reading efforts at home. There was an extra amount of excitement today as some children were presented with their silver badges for the first time in recognition of reading a fantastic fifty times at home since we launched the scheme in the middle of September. Well done to all of the children presented with certificates or badges today, we are proud of you!

As Mr B had the pleasure of hearing children read from Squirrels, in the upper KS2 assembly, the children from Year Six who had been chosen as Head Boy, Head Girl and House Captains were revealed to the rest of the children and presented with their special badges. Well done children, we are proud of you!

As children from across the classes in KS1 spent time creating some wonderful firework pictures and Mr Geach and Mr B held meetings with our ‘Learning Ambassadors’, the hall played host to the latest PTA Cake and Uniform Sale. There was a wide range of cakes on offer which were soon snapped up by our families. Thanks to everyone who came along or donated cakes or pre-loved items of uniform.
