Fresh from their visit to the Royal Shakespeare Company last night, the children on the Year Six residential to Stratford Upon Avon spent the morning taking part in a fantastic Shakespeare drama workshop.

After some warm up activities the children worked in groups to each rehearse scenes from A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Once perfected they each took turns to perform their scenes one by one, building up the story with everyone else acting as the audience. The interpretations were impressive and very funny!

It proved to be a great way to ends was has been a highly enjoyable trip!

Meanwhile, back in school, Year Four took part in a cricket tournament and with the help of Year Six managed to play a couple of exciting games. They aim to finish the tournament next week if the weather and time permits.
