READING & ERUPTIONS!

It was a fantastic end to the week today with the children being artists, scientists and fantastic readers.

In Kites the children ended their week studying volcanoes by carrying out an erupting experiment of their own. They mixed bicarbonate of soda with vinegar and watched their very own lava spurt out of the top of their volcano!

Meanwhile in badgers the children got a little dirty as they created observational pictures of plants using charcoal. they enhanced the tone of their pictures by smudging the charcoal, getting a little messy in the process.

The afternoon saw the downstairs communal area being used for individual sessions focusing on reading and writing skills whilst Mr B was lucky to end his week hearing readers in his office today.
