It was a proud moment for a host of children and family members from across Year Six as we held our annual presentation for prefects. In the upstairs hall, parents and other proud family members returned to school in the evening for the ceremony which recognised the effort that the children had made throughout the summer whilst carrying out their projects. In order to become a prefect every pupil in the Year groups was given the opportunity to plan and complete a project which reflected the Earls Hall Quality of being responsible. There were a whole host of projects celebrated on the night ranging from litter picking, helping at foodbanks, caring for animals and siblings, budgeting for and cooking for the family for a week and even being responsible for planning and undertaking a room renovation!
At the ceremony, we presented our House Captains with their badges before also celebrating the achievement of our new Head Boy and Head Girl. Then, each prefect in turn was presented with their badge and each received a huge round of applause from the packed audience.
It was a fabulous evening of celebration, thanks to everyone who came along to support the children.
