It was a busy start to the final full week of term today at Earls Hall! The morning saw the children who will be joining our Foundation Stage in September come along and spend time together in their new classrooms. The morning saw two sessions taking place, with half of each class coming to each one. The children were settled into class by their parents who, once the children were happy to be left, then went and got to know each other over a cup of tea in the hall before collecting our newest learners a little while later. It was smashing to see everyone, thanks so much for coming along.

Meanwhile, as the children in Foundation Stage enjoyed creating their own obstacle courses and going on nature hunts in Forest Friends, the children in Year One created some fantastic works of art by utilising their printing skills. Inspired by nature, the children created printing blocks out of polystyrene blocks which they then covered in paint and pressed down. The end results were really striking and the children were very proud of themselves.

Upstairs, as the children in Year Six created a host of thank you cards in preparation for the helpers cream tea tomorrow, the children in Year Four used cardboard and paint to create frames and backgrounds for their buzz wire games.
