It has been a fantastic day for the Year Five children who have ventured off site in order to enjoy a fun residential at PGL, Windmill Hill. The children have spent the day taking part in a series of activities and have settled into their new surroundings beautifully. Some of the children have taken part in team building activities where encouragement and communication have been key. Others have taken part in daring activities, such as wall climbing, where they have had to challenge themselves to try something new and daring.

In the evening, the children took part in a night activity of ambush before ending the day wishing one of the children a happy birthday with cake. With bedtime approaching, the children can look forward to a good nights sleep in their dorms before the fun starts all over again in the morning!

Meanwhile, back in school, as the children in Elm used their Forest Friends session to garden using secateurs, some children from Badgers took their turn to look after the animals.
