There was a sense of nostalgia across the school this afternoon when we were visited by a host of past pupils all eager to relive some of their childhood memories.
The group of visitors were all past Earls Hall pupils from the 1960’s who had previously contacted Mr B to arrange the opportunity to wander down memory lane.
Mr B took them onto the playground where they shared fond memories of former Headteacher Mr Swann and noted how the outside of the school had barely changed in all the years since they were students. They visited the dining hall and shared stories of their parents being involved in the creation of then original outdoor pool.
Inside, both Mrs Critoph and Miss Ellacott took the visitors on a tour of the building which brought back lots of memories. All the visitors were very positive about their time at the school and complimentary about Earls Hall in the present day.
Thank you to everyone who came long and shared their memories.
