It was another busy day at Earls Hall and one which saw the children in Year Three presented with special certificates in recognition of their achievements in Forest Friends. When outdoors in their sessions, the children work through a progression of skills and today the children were recognised as having achieved their ropes and shelters award, meaning that they are able to independently secure and fasten ropes and tarpaulin in order to create shelters and structures. Well done children, we are proud of you!

Meanwhile, there was fun taking place over in the pool as the children from Hedgehogs and Squirrels enjoyed their first swimming lesson. The children used the noodles in order to float and move across the width of the pool on their fronts and backs and a great time was had by all.

In the upstairs corridor, the children in Beech used water colour paints to create some stunning Texan landscape pictures whilst the children in 6J were inspired by the style of pop art in order to create modern pictures of the wives of Henry VIII.

At the end of the afternoon the children in Year Four took to the field in order to enjoy some games of rounders before, after school, our Star Sports Multisports club saw the children develop their football skills.
