Great Goats!

It was an exciting day for a group of children in Dormice as they spent time visiting the goats with Mr B. The children were entertained by our four legged friends as the goats instinctively took to their podium and danced on their hind legs for them which caused much amusement. Mr B explained some of the jobs which the children will help with when they are bigger and how they would help to be responsible for the well being of the animals.

Meanwhile, in Year Two, the children used the castle designs which they completed yesterday in order to start the construction stage of their project. They collected the materials that they needed and set to work in pairs, adapting their ideas as they went along.

Over in the pool the children from Beech enjoyed the first of their swimming lessons which will take place place every afternoon for the rest of the week whilst, up in the upstairs hall, the children in Oak enjoyed a fun fitness work out with Mr Smith.

Out the front of the school the children in Aspen took part in some fun team games as part of their Forest Friends session whilst inside the children in Beech were learning the names of the planets in French!
